Cinema: The Interpreter

Dear friends, after a day of intense "arithmetic" and go crazy with a variety of formulas, I take a little break from physics and I am writing a little post (insomma. ..).
today I would like to talk about a film very nice, not very recent, but certainly to see! the film in question is The Interpreter; released in 2005, the film is directed by Sydney Pollack, a great director! the interpreters are a very good (as always) Sean Penn, really touching, and a nice Nicole Kidman, who in this film fails to really engage the viewer.

The film is about political intrigue at the international level that are held at the United Nations building, the original Kidman is a translator of Matobo, the African country under the control of a ruthless dictator. After losing his family due to a landmine, he moved to New York to work as an interpreter, believing in the power of peace and the use of the word to quell even the bloodiest civil wars. When he listens to an alleged plot involuntarily against the dictator of Matobo, was hired Sean Penn, federal agent of the secret services that will initially only the safety of the dictator, but soon discovers that the Kidman is much more than a simple interpreter.
the film is compelling, exciting, but not fracassone or shooter. focuses on the spirituality of the characters, who meet in a painful moment in their lives where they can not trust each other. everything in the film is completely cured: in addition to the interpretation of the characters are really well-written dialogue, the photography is wonderful and everything is accompanied by a great soundtrack, directed by James Newton Howard. also the director takes on the tones of a political thriller to Hitchcock, (in fact due to the famous North by Northwest), is elegant, fine, smooth yet sophisticated.
In short, I strongly recommend it, you'll see that you will not be disappointed! Now back to my exercises, have a look! Ps: the report on Maona we took great! With compliments for the accuracy of the professor! Wow!
